ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager Casablanca to join our expanding team and support Senior Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with business owners to help grow and develop their business and ours. The Area Sales Manager should be a self-starter who has the entrepreneurial drive to develop our partner relationships quickly and effectively. We are looking for individuals who are driven to succeed, results-oriented with solid business acumen, and with the ability to complete projects and achieve goals in an efficient and timely manner. He/She must develop a rapport with new clients, set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Strategic planning is a key part of this position because it is the Area Sales Manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and pursue sales strategies and territory plans that effectively market to clients and customers to drive profitable sales growth
  • Develop territory analysis and execute sales strategies against analysis with data-driven decision making
  • Assist accounts with the formation and implementation of actionable plans, structure and best practices for business development
  • Retain and expand relationships to achieve portfolio retention, sales, service, and profitability objectives, and proactively develop relationships with new business clients
  • Achieve sales targets through the execution of self-generated business development
  • Ensure comprehensive marketing of our products while also ensuring the promotion of our organization and products
  • Work with the sales teams to provide support on a regularly basis to ensure results, identify areas for opportunity
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • Identify ongoing business challenges and suggest appropriate action plans.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential as Area Sales Managers are the liaison between the company’s headquarters and their assigned territory stores

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; English is mandatory
  • Self-starter with the confidence and ability to represent our team in a professional manner
  • Great communicator using technology with an advanced level in Microsoft Office and other data management & presentation tools
  • Positive attitude, personable, ability to easily establish rapport with new business clients
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time
  • Access to own vehicle

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or relevant field are preferred but not required
  • Track record of high performance – with a focus on sales and brand development
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales an asset
  • Experienced in customer relationship management.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
